Is there any better moment in an Australian summer than that moment after an obsessively hot day when the a violent southerly wind erupts and the temperature drops 10 degrees in 10 seconds.
That moment, post heat, pre rain was a 4.24pm today, as I stood at the pedestrian lights on my walk home laden down with present, some received and some for giving.
