Walking slowly, being magnetized by the beauty, a camera follows closely behind me, capturing these magnificent shots that I will cherish forever.

At first, it appeared the sunset was going to hold out on us that night as the sun was hiding its radiance behind thick clouds.

It had its own allure to it but after a few minutes of admiring it, I was cold from my dip in the chilly waters following what was a grueling uphill hike, and was eager for some shut eye. I tucked myself into my campervan, ready to sleep the night away when orange light shone through my back window, causing me to look out and see the whole sky light up!

Behind me, all of a sudden I heard scuffling and shouting, gasping and laughing...

A rainbow seemed to be shooting out of the ground! We were all staring at it, reveling in its beauty when the sky seemed to come alive, beckoning everyone to come stare up at it! It seemed that all of a sudden everyone was gravitating down towards the water, jaws hanging open staring at the picture-perfect view ahead.

It was a cold, windy night and still we all stood out there, shivering albeit watching the sky dance through a rainbow of colors for our viewing pleasure.

It was one of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen because it sprang up unexpectedly.

I fell madly in love with the sky that night as I watched the sun dance its way into the horizon beckoning the moon biding me goodnight as I do to you now!
