Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining ...

The Boyer Vision Challenge, hosted by @boyerobert, has this week the theme "Clouds". And to me it's an interesting theme. And often enough our country is covered by a cloudy sky. Only when you want to see clouds to make a photo, they just don't show the way you want them to. But well, I guess that's with everything.

There are also many many sayings known about clouds. And they are just as beautiful as the clouds itself. Yes I love to look at the sky, and look at the clouds. There's so much imagination in the clouds. One of the sayings I remember is:

When people look at clouds they do not see their real shape, which is no shape at all, or every shape, because they are constantly changing. They see whatever it is that their heart yearns for.

Is it? Is it true that we just see what our heart is yearning for? It sure is that when you ask 10 people what they see in a cloud, you can get 10 different answers. Very interesting, now I think more about this.

Another saying that always appealed to me is:

There are no rules of architecture for a castle in the clouds

And again here is so much imagination in it. Yes I'm a dreamer, and sometimes I don't even want to live the reality. My castle in the clouds is then the place where I want to be. Then my castle in the sky is the place that I prefer over the sometimes harsh reality. The place where I want to recharge for a moment, where I want to relax for a moment, and then meet the real world again with renewed energy. And then it is my imagination that helps me realize my dreams. Because imagination is what you need. It shows you the way to follow.

And as soon as I am back in reality, I also know that when I look at the clouds in my life. There is not a dark cloud that can stop the sun forever. The sun always shines behind the clouds.

Ah there is so much to say about the clouds. But for now, I think the photo is the most important thing ... and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I took the photo, in a beautiful spot in North Brabant Netherlands.

A place where I like to come with the dogs and where I often dream under the clouds and where the sun always shines.
