曾經路過了七年的屋邨

以前讀中學的七年間，每天上學都經過順天邨，卻從未上過去。今天要在這裏附近等消息，又看見順天邨的招牌，就鑽了進去。

在屋邨的快餐店，$38有飯有湯有飲品，還有街坊的「江湖傳聞」，聽說那家店要搬到那裏，又聽說那個鋪位要分拆合併，還聽說誰打算關門養老。另一個街坊又說，反正那人年年說退休，又年年都在營業，這傳聞不可靠。

樸素大方的手寫店鋪招牌，與對面那個讓人想起紅白機年代的PLAYGROUND標示，看似格格不入，但或許已共存幾個世紀。我們會否缺少了這種包容力？

看着小毛蟲緊緊抓住花瓣不放，就想起如今醫院裏仍在媽媽肚中的小寶寶，有橙吃就伸伸腳，不知何時才肯呱呱墜地。媽媽只好忍多一會，辛苦了。

The estate that I kept walking pass for seven years

When I was in high school, I walked pass Shun Tin Estate every morning, but I never really paid a visit. Today while I have to wait for news and got nowhere to go, I saw the estate entrance again.

In the local fast food restaurants, not only you get a meal with soup and Hong Kong style milk tea for $38, you will also hear many interesting rumors. That store is being forced out by landlord, another clinic will move to nearby estate, or that old man is going to close his store and get retired. Another resident said every year that man said he would get retired, but still he is sitting next to the cashier.

Opposite to those traditional calligraphy handmade plastic red store names, there is a "PLAYGROUND" sign which looks like the font in Nintendo FC. Although these two font seems totally mismatched, they had site side-by-side for decades. Do our society still have such courage to accept contradiction?

Watching the tiny caterpillar tightly hold onto the petal, it reminds me of my wife and baby who still in the hospital. The little girl is still hiding inside her mom, and give us some kicks if she smells orange. So we can only wait. Thanks my wife for all the effort she paid, and wish we can see the baby soon.
