Sequoia National Forest, also known as "giant land", is home to some of the largest living trees in the world.

At a height of 103 feet and a height of 275 feet, the General Sherman tree (the name for Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman) is a giant among giants.

Has lived about 2,200 years.

The sixth largest giant Sequoia, 35 feet in diameter and 269 feet, is a 2,000-year-old Boole tree.
