Inline with the promise it made back in April this year, Google has finally made its Inbox app compatible with the display of the Apple iPhone X. So this means you won't see those ugly black bars on top and bottom any more.
A new, 144MB update has been pushed to the app, that bumps the version to 1.3.180617. Changelog says "now supports iPhone X". The feature has been incorporated around nine months after the notch-totting device was launched.
Inbox's more popular cousin Gmail already received this compatibility back in December last year.
It's worth mentioning that Apple recently made it mandatory for app updates to include support for iPhone X display. Here's what the company had exactly said.
