Looking At The World Upside Down

At the Fair.JPG
I came across this photo in my archives, and the title of this post just jumped right in to my head. It was summer fun at the fair many moons ago when my youngest still needed adult supervision. He was shy and very uncomfortable being at places, even with our good family neighbors, without me. He felt more at ease if I was around, from a distant.

Things are different now! He has grown so tall that I have to look up at him when we talk! He doesn't need me around and prefers to be on his own! He has found his own self and grown perfectly in his comfortable skin.

And yet, that little boy is still trapped inside somewhere, like in that locked upside down ride he took many summers ago. He only needs me when he gets sick!

In my world, the roles have reversed! My mother is like a two years old child, and my son is now an adult. I am looking at the world in an upside down manner!

Quite ironic how things play out in life, Icy. Your youngest will always be young little boy - remind him every chance you get before he graduates and goes on his own! Hope you have a terrific Thursday! Great capture📸🎢 💙

Yes, it is strange how things play out! He will be going to MSU in January! Thanks Nina and you too have a great Thursday!

At least he will still be in the same state, not too far away. Bet he's excited to go to college!

Wou nice shot
