Three weeks ago, a small group of friends from church, took me out to celebrate my birthday, late. More than a month later since my mom had a big heart attack and was in all kind of issues. They waited for me to have time settling down with the situation.

Walking into this fancy restaurant, we were greeted with this beautiful handmade, one of the kind chandelier by the owner.

I was in awe with this gorgeous and amazing art piece that I left my group and had to take some shots quickly. I would have preferred to be alone when I take pictures but there was no other opportunities to do so.

This center piece sat right underneath the chandelier, and was as impressive looking. I love the colorful painted circle on the floor. This restaurant located on one of the canals of Lake Saint Claire, and is home for many yacht owners.

It was a beautiful day in early October, so we decided to have our lunch out on the deck. This wonderful view was a welcome sight when we came out.

My group of friends range from 35 to 90 plus in ages, and none of them was into selfies or food photos. I was the only one that took some pictures with my phone.

I really am appreciate and grateful for their friendship. They gave me three hours of just sheer joy to forget all my duties at home for a while.
