Today the rather impressive insect you see below crossed my father's path while he was working in his little bee house. He sent me some photos (besides the insect itself I think the shadows on the floor are really fascinating) and asked me what it could be? Now he knows the answer - do you know it as well? Meinem Vater lief heute in seinem kleinen Bienenhäuschen das unten zu sehende, ziemlich beeindruckende Insekt über den Weg (faszinierend finde ich übrigens auch die Schatten, die es wirft). Er schickte mir einige Fotos und fragte mich, was das wohl wäre. Er weiß es jetzt - wisst ihr es auch?
