I took these this evening in the back yard.
We've been getting a lot of rains recently, which means that the air is thick with the sounds of tortoise mating, that wonderful grunt-grunt noise that means cute little baby torts will be around in 4 - 6 months!
These weird and wonderful creatures...
They're kinda like dogs, walking into cameras to sniff them.
Wow they are so freaking cute I just want to touch them. I love the videos of them but that very first picture is amazing beautiful detail to it! Thank you for sharing this post. It put a huge smile on my face and I will be sharing with my sister because she will love this!

STEAL them? My good Dr Pepper, these are my tortoises and there's 15 adults :P It's already a tortoise farm! buahaha!
I usually get about a dozen or two dozen babies each season :)

These ones are probably 15-20 years, but I'm not completely sure. The oldest is 30+, the youngest are less than a year :)
