Hi Steemians! Im from South Korea and now visiting Japan for my late summer break.
I decided to post some awesome photos from Kyoto to the steemit photo challenge.

First Entry : Heian Jingu Entrance Gate

It is the shinto shrine , the symbol of 10 Japanese yen. The gate was huge and reddish orange as you can see in the photo.

Second Entry: Kinkaku-ji

Many of you might already know it well. It is the world heritage and the entire surface of the shrine was convered by pure gold film. The weather was very nice on the day I visited and the golden color was even more beatufiul relfecing the sunshine.

Third Entry: Kiyomizu-dera temple

This shrine is also registered as a UNESCO world heritage. There is slope called "San-nen saka" (Three year slope) and it has 46 steps . In old days there was rumors that if you tlip on the steps, you will die wihtin 3 years. But dont worry! The temple sells a magic paper which can break the curse.
One amazing fact about this architecture is that not even one steel nails were used while construction.
This huge figure was all made from lumbers and skil of ancient Japanese people!

This three photos were taken by me today.
