Looking through my photo backup I never knew I had.

I didn't know until few weeks ago that my Android device use to backup every image through its Google Photo app. I got a little bit curious about it and I started looking through. My first Android device was around 2011, I remember it was an LG Android 1.5, I don't remember which model was but it used to be an Slider Model with a pretty decent camera. I used to use a lot of photo editing apps and the fact to have a device to take pictures anytime, for a photography aficionado perspective, it was beyond of awesomeness.

So it began my journey through that backup I never knew I had and I encountered with lots of pictures that started to grow in me a peculiar nostalgia because I found out pictures from the first niece I had at that time to the last pictures I took before I left my country.

this was the very first picture I took from a mobile device (July 8th 2011)

The more I scrolled the smiley I was because there has been a lot of moments I forgot I captured with that smartphone.
As I told you, once I found that there were apps to modify pictures throught the smartphone I didn't stopped taking "artistic" pictures.

This was between my grandmother's house and mine's, I remember it was a rainy afternoon got a little bit cooler than usual (July 27th 2011)

This was my very first drum I had. It was back in 2004 when I went with my father to get some new guitar strings and we went out with that drum. (August 4th 2011)

I forgot to mention that I switched to and iPhone 3g and then I got an Android again so this was my very first picture backed up since then

I introduce you Chicho, I adopted him during february 2015. I'll tell you a story about him one of these days. (April 23rd 2015)

And these were the very last couple of pictures I took before I left my beloved country:

This is my hometown's downtown, You can see the Maracaibo's Lake from there. I remember I was signing up my girlfriend to do some makeup and cosmetic courses just before I leave the country. I wanted her to focused on something while I wasn't there with her.

So this was the very first picture from when I first arrived to Utah, US:

My cousin and his husband picked me up at the airport and then we when to get something to eat at The Pie Pizzeria. I love everything from there. I'll never forget that place.

So these were my "highlights" from my Google Photo backups. Probably i'll be releasing a 2nd part of this in the future!

On a note: photography has an important impact in human beings. Is one of those arts that leave a moment throughout the time. And just by looking at just one picture, it takes you back to that moment.
