Today is my second performance in 4 months.
This facility, "Laurel Grove Senior Living of Lawrenceville
was (is) one of my favorite places to play.
They pay me more than any of my other clients, it is a
RETIREMENT facility, so there are very few wheelchair bound folks
Some even get up to dance.
Everyone loves me, we laugh and joke (during my show).
All was well until last Christmas. I performed another Last Minute
booking on Christmas Eve.
None of the residents knew I was coming. The acting ED seemed suprised
As well.
There was a huge Christmas Tree right in the middle of the Atrium, my normal
Performance location. I performed around it (I have videos, it's hilarious)
I performed for them in Feb this year, and even now, I have not been paid for
Either of those performances.
It's all good, we found the problem, those check requests have been sitting in
The new ED's computer all this time; she'd never approved and sent them on to
Corporate.
As a consolation, they asked me to come perform today, I've already sent my
Invoice, all three check requests have been sent on to corporate, so I should
Receive either three checks next week or one for $300.

I didn't like the fact that I was wearing blue shorts (my only blue pants) with my
Ugly legs showing, so I changed into 'almost white' long pants.
