[PART 2/5]
Elm Lake Loop Trail is a 1.7 mi (2.7 km) bike and foot path that circles around Elm Lake. This trail has several resting benches positioned along it's side. This offers a great way to catch your breath after a jog, only to have it taken away again by the beauty of the lake and animals. That is of course, if you are comfortable resting within mere feet of an alligator!

Very cool pictures of an alligator. We have cayman in the canals over here but they don't get so big and are very shy.

Thank you! The alligators in this particular park are protected, so they tend to get rather large and brazen! I have some photos I will be posting later in this series of some as large as 8 foot (2.4 m)! They actually had to post signs warning people not to take their small dogs near the banks of the lake.

The biggest cayman I've seen are about 5 feet long. I guess once they are that big they might be dangerous to small dogs as well. Can't wait to see the other photos. I find these animals quite intriguing.
