the back leg of this six-month-old Sumatran tiger cub was so badly mangled...
by an "ILLEGAL POACHER" snare that it had to be amputated!!!
He was lucky to survive at all.... having been trapped for four days before being discovered in the rainforest in Aceh Province on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

The competition was first launched in 1965 by the BBC Wildlife Magazine.

I am totally dislike the Zoo concept. Animals have right to be free, same like humans. They should be free not caged. It is okay to have re-habitation centers to treat the wounded or disable animals but not for showcasing for money.
So sad to hear about the cub.
