I was at a vintage fair recently, and I found so many of the items fascinating. Not just because they came from a different era, but because these items actually used to belong to somebody.
Who did they belong to?
What stories did these people have to tell? What had they seen, done, experienced in their lives?
I also love to visit old buildings. They make me feel funny inside.
Almost as if I can feel the past.
I get shivers or energetic tremors (if you will) just by imagining all the life that has passed through the building.
History fascinates me.
I kind of can't believe I will never know exactly what happened, (history is written by the winners they say), what secrets were kept, what information was shared, the hopes and dreams of people hundreds of years ago...
Anyway, I'd best get back to working on my time machine. Shhhhhhhh.

I'm with you.... I often wonder what stories are held by objects and places and what evokes the connective feeling. Great photo!
