Bar Harbor, Maine preserves Acadia National Park on its Mount Desert Island

Within the park the capstone is Cadillac Mountain which delivers a panoramic scene of the encompassing islands and fjord-like coves. The most prominent inlet is dubbed Thunder Hole, where the power of nature is surely realized. Sea foam erupts from the backside of the windswept rocks with resounding echoes...hence the name Thunder Hole.

Bubble Mountains at Jordan Pond

By far the most breath-taking views in Acadia National Park can be had behind the Jordan Pond House. After a short walk down a footpath that leads to the lakes' perimeter, where a righteous perspective of the North & South Bubble Mountains can be observed.

Nice shots!

Thank you....this was my first trip with my new camera. Still just learning.

Wow. @jonnyrevolution it's breathtaking. I never thought to visit here until I just saw this now.
Thanks for the shots.
Cheers, @booky

Absolutely...I will have to visit again. I feel as if I could spend a few more days and still not see everything, especially since there are some little secrets on the old carriage trails.
