Is this the most photogenic transit system in the world?

Berlin's subway system (U-Bahn) is a marvel of public transportation. Every day, 1.4 million people pass through the network's 173 stations spread out over 152 kilometres of track. It could easily be mistaken for the road map of a small city.

It's not all brains, though – Berlin's metro flaunts plenty of beauty too.
