[ENG-SPN] Forgotten Roads and Paths / Caminos y senderos olvidados

They were not always little-traveled or unfrequented paths leading to places that suffered from the eternal sleep of solitude, as they may seem to us today, by decree of a dark fate, of a dark night of the soul that suddenly descended upon this remote region, leaving it at the mercy of sudden death brought on by time.

That same time that takes and grants, that replaces and substitutes at the dictates of a whim, which, despite all the impulsive force of its unstoppable fury, cannot always tear down what some mysterious stoneworkers erected with the mastery of a hidden and unfortunately lost knowledge.

There are still examples that, although severely wounded, survive the deadly anemia that has struck people who, having grown up around them, have long since forgotten that in the past, this wisdom was understood and assimilated by pilgrims who once ventured along paths completely forgotten today, but which, in those distant times, were true schools of something that today, unfortunately, is conspicuously absent: Transcendence.

No siempre fueron caminos poco o nada frecuentados que llevaban a lugares que adolecían del sueño eterno de la soledad, como así nos pueden parecer hoy por decreto de un oscuro destino, de una noche oscura del alma que repentinamente se abatiera sobre esta recóndita región, dejándola a merced de la muerte súbita provocada por el tiempo.

Ese mismo tiempo que quita y otorga, que emplaza y reemplaza al dictado de un capricho, que, no obstante toda la impulsiva fuerza de su incontenible furia, no siempre puede derribar aquello que algunos misteriosos labradores de la piedra levantaron con la maestría de un saber oculto y desafortunadamente, perdido.

Quedan todavía ejemplos, que, aunque malheridos, sobreviven a la anemia mortal que se abata sobre unos pueblos, que, habiendo crecido alrededor de ellos, hace tiempo que olvidaron que antaño, esa sabiduría era comprendida y asimilada por los peregrinos que un día se aventuraban a recorrer unos senderos, completamente olvidados hoy en día, pero que, en aquellos lejanos tiempos, eran verdaderas escuelas de algo que hoy, desgraciadamente, brilla por su ausencia: la Trascendencia.
