[ENG-SPN] Of the supernatural / De lo sobrenatural

Honestly, I would not spend a night in this cemetery, even if they offered me all the gold in the world, even knowing that what we really have to be afraid of is not the dead, but the living. And someone says it, in whose military record there is still a phrase, which, like a Boolean law of possibilities, should leave, at least, an honorable doubt, as far as the value is concerned: it is assumed.

The mind sometimes plays very tricks on us and even more so if we find ourselves in certain places, where loneliness, silence and an untamed nature make us enter fully into a game of assumptions and conditioning, where the supernatural overwhelms the imagination, to the point that, as Francisco de Goya said, it can create monsters.

Sinceramente, yo no pasaría una noche en este cementerio, ni aunque me ofrecieran todo el oro del mundo, aun sabiendo, que, de que quien realmente tenemos que tener miedo, no es de los muertos, sino de los vivos. Y lo dice alguien, en cuya cartilla militar todavía colea una frase, que, cual una booleana ley de posibilidades, debería dejar, cuando menos, una duda honrosa, en cuanto al valor se refiere: se le supone.

La mente, en ocasiones, nos juega muy malas pasadas y más, si nos encontramos en ciertos lugares, donde la soledad, el silencio y una naturaleza indómita, nos hacen entrar de lleno en un juego de suposiciones y condicionamientos, donde lo sobrenatural desborda la imaginación, hasta el punto de que, como decía Francisco de Goya, puede llegar a crear monstruos.
