The lines that can be found in a certain natural or urban space are very powerful elements to enrich our photographic composition. The lines give dynamism and directionality to the image, making the observer direct his gaze towards particular elements within the photograph. The lines can be of four types, vertical, horizontal, diagonal or convergent, all of them have the potential to make us visually traverse a photograph following the direction of those lines.
Next, I present a couple of examples of the inclusion of lines within the photographic composition. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.

Las líneas que se pueden encontrar en un determinado espacio natural o urbano son elementos muy potentes para enriquecer nuestra composición fotográfica. Las líneas le otorgan dinamismo y direccionalidad a la imagen, haciendo que el observador dirija su mirada hacia elementos particulares dentro de la fotografía. Las líneas pueden ser de cuatro tipos, verticales, horizontales, diagonales o convergentes, todas ellas tienen el potencial de hacernos recorrer visualmente una fotografía siguiendo la dirección de dichas líneas.
