Among and between rocks - The devil's ditch - Inside the cave

in photography •  5 years ago

Dear Steemies,
you have been accustomed to be regularly given picture reports of my hiking tours with my friend, Csaba. We visited the Devil's ditch twice in a short time, but now we had more time to stay here and also visited a cave. Our journey was not long, but the terrain was hard., with rocks and fallen trees as obstacles. The path to the cave was extremely steep and slippery. Fortunately, I had the hiking poles with myself. The cave was open to visitors, but in the absence of cave equipment we only climbed into some easily accessible caverns. I couldn't take photos inside the cave because the flash light didn't work on my camera. Only Csaba took some photos.

At the very beginning of the ditch, we can see large rocks

Trametes versicolor is very common here. It's a species that has anti-tumor-effect.

...and yes, we climbed into the cave! We were very annoyed by the graffities that mocked the walls of the cave! (Csaba's photo)

This seems like a very creepy and yet intriguing trail. Caves are always filled with wonder. If not to hell, possibly it may be a way to other worlds....

Indeed, they are very special worlds with special fauna, like bats. I love caves!
