Irises are very popular flowers in Hungary. It is blooming time now, and there are various colors, forms and sizes of iris everywhere in my town, Székesfehérvár. The Greek word "iris" means rainbow, and also means the "colored part of the eye". These spectacular and elegant flowers are most beautiful after rain.
