Maripol - New Discovery (for Me, at Least!)

One of my favorite things about going to a new exhibit is discovering a new artist I didn’t know about. Although I’ve been a Madonna fan since I was little-and discovered the kickass work of Debbie Harry years later-I never knew about this really cool artist/photographer named Maripol, who really seems like she captures the zeitgeist wherever she goes. Snapping pics of these two icons at the beginning of their careers, she was ahead of her time. Oh, and she shot pics of Grace Jones as well (just learned about Grace a few years back)! Anyhoo, I love making discoveries like this, so today’s trip to the dog park will be dedicated to listening to Maripol videos!
