Hello fellow Steemians,
In this post I would like to talk about Pisac, a Peruvian village in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Pisac is mostly known for its Incan ruins and large market every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, an event which attracts many tourists from nearby Cusco (1).
The trip to Pisac was full of beautiful scenes. If you like mountains, you will be thrilled by the views.
The market there was indeed huge. Lovely local crafts, and very pretty textiles. The wool from alpaca is warm, light, strong and easy to the skin. Normally wool itches me, but the jacket I bought from there never gave me any problems.
I think I visited on a special day, as there was an event at the local church. Peruvians, dressed in traditional clothes, were lined up on each side of the entrance to the church, blowing some sea shells.
I decided to roam the streets and get a feel of the village. I found plenty of things to photograph.
Of course such hard work, needs to be rewarded in the end in an appropriate manner.
And that's the end of today's post. I hope you liked my pictures, and that you will follow me to the next one.
Have a good day, and speak to you soon!
