As I watched the habits of a gray raven. Story in pictures.

The gray crow! Not black, but gray. Although gray is only her body; head, wings and tail as we see black, and eyes are also black.
It's she flew away from me and sat on the lantern, so I did not pester her with the photo session :))

Yes, because the crow itself is to blame, that attracted my attention by the fact that the crow threw a nut on the road, tried to split them. I'll tell you, the crow's got it. The nuts were cracked!
Noticing me, taking a half-nut in the beak, the raven galloped (did not go!), Away from me and tried to hide its prey in the grass ... But in the grass I found something tasty .

.. keeps "tasty" and .... forgetting about me and about walnuts

The beak was smeared with delicacy, suddenly a crow remembering me ... flew up and sat down on ... a lantern. Crow found a safe place!

Here is a story about a crow!

The photos were taken by Canon PowerShot SX200 IS

Nice shots! Not always easy to get close.

Is this an albino or something or is it a species that always looks like this?

... It's always kind of look like. I think it's probably -The hooded crow (Corvus cornix) (also called hoodie)

Ah, OK. We only get those in winter in The Netherlands, and less and less often. I have never seen one myself.

... in my locality there are a lot of them :))

I Love Crows! They are supposedly old souls recycling through time! Thanks for the post! Upvoted. Awesome pictures.
