Today I show you a few impressions of advertising posters from the 1930s from the film set Babylon, Berlin.
The whole posters, which you see here were reprinted currently.
1929 was the "Great Depression" and had of course also Germany in its spell.
So that the people out to spend money , you had to offer something like entertainment mixed with a good meal or if you do not laugh in the performance, there was a money back guarantee.
It was also hard times for chocolates or even cosmetic supplies.
Almost no one could afford such a thing.

ich hab die Sendung Babylon Berlin nicht verfolgt. In den 20er 30er - Jahren war Berlin ja der Nabel der kulturellen Szene. Gut daß du eine Zusammenfassung bietest.

If you remember the previous thing is really amazing. I have come to the conclusion that people used to show things very clearly in terms of both pictures and writing. Maybe because there are not too many sponsors
