I know a lot of Steemians lust for technology and their gear. This is a behind the scenes video at Cine Gear Expo in LA; this is the premier annual event for professionals in technology, entertainment and media industry. In addition to the video I will include some photos for your viewing pleasure.

As you walk through the lot at Paramount I like to think about all the movies that have been shot in these stages throughout the decades. Stage 5: Built in 1922, Dimensions Width: 247'-4” Length: 76'-4” Height: 34' Square Feet: 18,879. Door Height: 28'-1” Max Weight Capacity: 7,500lbs.

A girl in a PanAm uniform stands outside a set that is designed to be like the cabin of an airplane. It's a lot more spacious inside than your real 747 (watch the video for a BTS clip)

Movie cameras and cranes fill the New York City streets at Paramount. Yes, there are several blocks at Paramount were created to look like New York City. Surreal.

Stage 1 was empty so I peeked inside. Movies such as The Sterile Cuckoo (1969) Paint Your Wagon (1968) Darling Lili (1970) The President's Analyst (1967) Love With The Proper Stranger (1963) The Nutty Professor (1963) Teacher's Pet were shot there.

Entrance to the beautiful theater at Paramount. I've seen a few screenings in this theater that seats about 1,000 people.

There's some pretty dope gear there. Enjoyed the pictures too. Especially the one of the entrance to the theater - Very nice - What are you shooting on - Camera/ lens?

Ever seen this Van Damme gear video?

Shot with my old Canon 5D with the 16-35mm 2.8 - yes, I have seen that clip.

The closest I can get to Paramount Studios. Nice.

Come to LA and they have days you can do a tour. Well worth it! Universal as welll

The use of technology has made things easy and possible for the movie makers. thanks for sharing.

But I still love the old classics for inspiration: Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind, Mrs. Robinson (Hoffman movie), The Godfather, Das Boot

you have a nice taste for classics.
