Backyard Beauty: Part 1

I see many posts on Steemit of exotic places where people have traveled and the beauty they have experienced. Beauty, however is all around us, even in the most mundane of places- suburbia. Which happens to be where I live. Here in the suburbs it's easy to become jaded by the sameness and mediocrity of it all, yet I've been amazed a few times I've truly opened my eyes to see what's around me. I'll share a few of the sights I've seen in the next few posts. Just a reminder to appreciate what you have.
