Henri Cartier-Bresson was a celebrated photographer. "What Tolstoy was for literature", Cartier-Bresson was for photography. He was also a proud self-proclaimed anarchist. In fact, he did not see himself as a photographer or even as an artist, but first and foremost as an anarchist.
