The James River--Black and White Photography

in photography •  8 years ago  (edited)

I live near the James River in Richmond, Va.  I walked around it more before my daughter was born.  The James River runs 348 miles through the state of Virginia.  Click here to learn more about the river.

These photographs were taken in March of 2006, during the end of winter.  So it gives the river a cold look to it.

These were edited in Lightroom CC.

I love this rope swing.

I still sit on this bench from time to time.

This tree is no longer blocking the river.  I never learned if it just floated away or was taken away by people.
