Purakaunui Falls, Stirling Falls and Bowen Falls. More pictures from my trip in the South island of New Zealand (NZ)
Purakaunui Falls
Purakaunui Falls is a beautiful cascading three-tiered waterfall down a 10 min walk from the road. When I visited we were the only people there at the time.

Stirling Falls
Stirling falls is located in the Milford sound with best views only accessible by boat. Most cruises (a must in Milford sound) take you to the base of the 155m tall waterfall. This falls is a permanent feature of the sounds even in the dryer times of the year.

Bowen Falls
Also located in the Milford Sound and the closest to the town. Again you can only really view it by boat or kayak. The falls actually provides the town with its electricity through a small hydroelectric scheme. The falls also is the settlements main water source. I personally think it looks like a lady laying back on the rocks.

Oh my god that is so picturesque! I visited NZ to play in an international video game tournament and never got to leave Wellington, I'm definitely going to come back for another visit and do some sight seeing.
