Downtown Calgary Skyscrapers in B&W

in photography •  last year

The variety of architecture I find in downtown Calgary is fun to observe and try and capture in different ways. I feel like for the decades that I have been here it is always under construction, something is being built up and as we are an energy city it is a reflection of many boom and bust periods. We see population growth that often exceeds most places in Canada and I like seeing the city grow up and become more vibrant. It gives me endless material to capture and also lets me experiment with different views and angles of places both new and old.
