The "Zeche Zollverein" in Essen, Germany # A short photodocumentary

Hey Steemians, today i wanted to share with you, some photos of an old coal mine in Essen (Germany). The coal mine called "Zeche Zollverein" was active from 1851 till 1986. Since 2001 it is part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

All photos were shot at night with long time value and a tripod. Within the light, the structure of the architecture and with the beauty of decay, it becomes somehow magical and futuristic.

    Die Zeche, schaut so friedlich aus bein Nacht!!
    Damals hat man Arbeitsplaetze noch mit namen bezeichnet die passen.
    Eine Leihfirma haette man damals sicher als Arbeitslager bezeichnet ... Great Shots!!!
