I miss Jakarta.. it was my home for 3 years when I was a teen. Thanks for sharing this beautiful image. I like how you framed the city like that. It looks like someone framed a pic of the city and hung it up in the carpark :)

Not really.. well a little. I used to be able to get by but i left in 1999 so I don't remember that much. some phrases. Apa Kabar? Baik, bagaimana anda? I think is the first phrase i learned :) to be honest, if i tried now i'd probably just embarrass myself.
I remember when we moved out there my grandparents on my mother's side were so happy (they used to live there before the war when it was still under dutch rule). The family is only now learning about my grandparent's lives out there.. crazy.
