White Heron and Carlow Castle

On Sunday on my walk I came across a white heron.

Luckily, I had a camera with me. I think she lives here near the Burrin Bridge because I've seen her here before.

However, in the distance behind the river you can see Carlow Castle.

Carlow Castle was built between 1207 and 1213, and is a National Monument of Ireland. It is one of the oldest stone castles in Ireland.
