Different Colors of Nature

in photography •  7 years ago

I have been very busy and stressed recently doing some programming and studying physics. Earlier, while waiting for a jeepney (in the Philippines, jeepney is our main mode of transportation // I will post more about jeepneys soon!!!), I came across a small beautiful violet flower. I realized that I was so deeply occupied that I have forgotten to appreciate the little things around me.

After this, I immediately contacted my friend, @zareceerine, who likes photography and asked her if she could join me wander around our campus and take pictures of anything that amazes us. I was indeed amazed by the colorful things that we encountered. Here are some of them:

I don't know the names of these colorful plants and I don't need to know them to appreciate them.

A little bee on a bed(?) of flowers!!!

This looks like a butterfly to me!

I saw this inside a truck and I had to ask permission to the driver to take a photo of this beautiful flower!

This one has its own way to stand out.

So do these leaves.

These however stand beautifully together.

This one has its own way of blending in. But I was it! :)

Nature is indeed beautiful and colorful. In a span of 30 minutes (yes, 30 mins!!!) we were able to unload the months worth of stress and we were able to appreciate the little things that surround us. This is also applicable to the people around us. We should also appreciate them. They too have unnoticed beauty. :)

Those are beautiful photos @mysupermando - Nature is wonderfully grounding... especially for those of us that spend a lot of time surrounded by technology.
