On the Dandaun savanna of Sembalun highland, salt is the only currency you can pay to get this lovely and free-roaming cow to pose for you. Due to the high altitude (1300 msl) of the savanna, the cattle here have everything they need except salt. Every day, they need salt to make milk which contains sodium and chloride. If cattle don't get enough salt, they would show sign of loss of appetite and weight. In time, salt-craving cattle would start eating dirt, rocks and wood to satisfy their salt requirement.
