As I was taking this picture, a distant car threw headlights at me while going through one of the many curves along the Adriatic coastal road. The lights hit me just enough to create my shadow on the rocks.
You can see it on the left side of the image. Me, sitting next to my tripod and staring at the sky, while the camera is collecting the photons...

This is one of my dearest pictures as it is in a way an illustration of what we really are on a cosmic scale.

Hi. It's a single exposure of 15 seconds. I was just lucky with the car lighting me up and printing my shadow on the rocks :)
It's taken in Croatia, on the Adriatic coastal road, just above a small town called Lukovo. The area is very low with light pollution so you can make pretty nice pictures of the night sky...
