The inside of a gentian, just for fun:

Wow how pretty - are they scented? They look very like Fresia that have a wonderful perfume.

No scent, these gentians, as far as I am aware. Still pretty though.

These grow wild? Love to have on my property.

There are several species of gentian, and they are all very picky about their habitat, so it will be difficult, but I've seen it done.
