This is one of the little pools in a peat bog near my home town in The Netherlands. Many people avoid this sort of landscape on their walks, but I think it is a beautiful and nicely quiet place:

I like to come here and photograph the butterflies and dragonflies, or just sit there and enjoy the quiet view.

I love that cotton grass. It looks like a relaxing place. Hope you take a seat if sitting to avoid a wet bum!

After photographing in the peat bog, I usually emerge wet and muddy anyway, so I'm not that concerned about wet body parts as long as the sun is out. The squishy sound when you move does take a bit of getting used to, though.
