I just posted some B&W photos of Dutch watermills for Monochrome Monday. I have two more photos of watermills in my region, but they are in colour.
The first one is one of the larger watermills in my region, the mill of Singraven, near Denekamp, The Netherlands:
Olympus XZ-1, 80mm, ISO100, f5.6, 1/80s
I had to wait quite a while to get a tourist-free photo, but I did in the end.
This is one of the smaller ones, the watermill at Twickel near Delden, The Netherlands, with just one wheel:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 75mm, ISO200, f5.6, 1/50s
Thanks for watching!
Wow... nice photography.

Wow, great photos.
The building of the "one wheel mill" looks like it has been cut off. Maybe there is another "one wheel mill" which fit this one to make it a "2 wheel mill". :)

Close, actually. Some books say it is half of a former double water mill 8-).

It is. On some days, they allow visitors in to have a look at the wooden mechanisms inside. Very impressive.
