Wet suits were very expensive then so we made our own. This beach is Grand Isle La.Note the real UDT (Under water demolition team) real gum-rubber "duckfeet"
Yes I made the wet suit for my wife to be and gave it to her for Christmas. Mission BC

My first crop of new divers as an instructor. The guys with spear guns were my assistants. Personal Floatation Devices were still in the future. Whycliffe Park West Vancouver.

Really cool PFD from an airplane. The only problem was you had to go upside down to deflate the vest. Note the "sardine can" decompression meter on the divers wrist. Poor Knight Islands, New Zealand.
