The last place on our schedule was a town with the same name as National Park. Banff.
We were a bit tired from our trip and we didn't really pay too much attention to details, So just a couple of shots for you to get the feeling about the town.
You can go for a ride across the town with a carriage. I took a shot of this one because is fancier than one we had.
First of all, you need to enter the park and it's not cheap. You can enlarge the photo to see the rates.

Both towns, Banf and Jasper are busy for a whole year. In summer you can enjoy what I'm showing you in my posts in the winter they are skiing paradise. A lot of hotels, cabins and resorts. And spas too. And 4 million people in AB stuck in winter for 7 months. Big business, my friend.

I get what you are saying, skiing is not like taking a jog, you have to free up some space in the calender for this activity. Eventhough skiing is big in Sweden I never really got into it. The first time I stood on skiis I was probably four years old, I was not moving at all and my mom told me I asked her when the batteries would start..
