12 months of bird photography in 12 days

The aim of these posts is to post a bird picture from my collection each day for 12 days to depict the 12 months of the year.

Day 1 is a bohemian Waxwing, a relatively scarce visitor to the UK during the winter months from Scandinavia often erupting in large flocks. This individual was taken on the Nottingham Trent University campus at Clifton.

Equipment was a canon 600d with a 200-400mm tamron lens at 330mm, ISO 400 and F8 and 1/640 shutter speed
