SNOW ON THE HOMESTEAD!

in photography •  6 years ago

It's not a lot... but it counts!

This was a far more common occurrence back in Wisconsin, and we honestly do not miss it that much. While it has snowed in previous years since we moved to the Ozarks, this was the first time that it actually snowed on our homestead since we moved to our land.

A lot of our animals did not seem to care too much, and for many of them it was their first time seeing snow. Here is a small pile of photos from this morning. Enjoy!

Cool. I like snow.

Congrats with the first snow!.....:)...

Wow! I’m dreading the day the snow falls in Norway, it’s probably soon.
Ps: Your goats are sooo cute!

Meanwhile, I'm dreading my hair! LOL

How does it feel living your dream. Don't answer, I can guess. :-)

The Sheep and Goats are Well Outfitted for the Snow......@papa-pepper

Haha! Hang on!! Givver!!

We had a shot of winter yesterday morning. I am beginning to question living in the cold. Will leave it at that. The animals don't seem to mind at all!! Blessings!! ❄🐏🐂🍂🍃🦃🐔❄

Brrrrr that's enough snow to get wrapped up warm and toasty! Hope it melts away soon :)

That's different! You got snow before we did here in New England! But they are threatening it for Thurs PM....

You don’t miss it? But the best part is the freezing below-0 temps to go with it!

LOL!

I'm willing to trade the amount of snow we've got here for the amount of snow you've got there any time. :D
Our animals aren't really fazed by snow either, unless its deep, they aren't fans of slugging through the deep mounds of snow at all. :D I feel the same way about the deep snow myself so I totally understand it. :D LOL. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D

Cool! Glad you and all your Little Peppers made it home in one piece. Looks like y'all had a lot of fun adventures down there in Texas and Mexico. Too cold now for all the snakes. Until Spring time... Although I'm sure you'll find time to go out and find some in this cold weather.

Well said.

Perhaps your turn will come one day!

woah, brrr that looks cold. haha. The highs for us this week will be in the low 70s. :) It was a chilly 67 today.

Chilly indeed!

We may get some here in TN Wed or Thurs. I could do without it. Lol
But the freeze helps keep the bugs down in summer. Balance ♥

Yeah, reducing the pesky bug population isn't that bad of a side effect!
