August is known as the windy month in South Africa and over the past two days we've had some very severe winds here in the city of Johannesburg! These guys came in, trying their best to hide in the tree, but the strong wind kept on pushing them out!
A guy was towing this large advertising trailer when the wind blew it over! He fortunately had a swivel coupling attached to the tow bar of his van which prevented an accident, but he had to leave the trailer here at the side of a highway onramp! Ooops! I forgot to tag this photo with "Zac Smith"
Our wind speed was approximately 65 kph, but I have seen reports of 99 kph in other areas.
