أَيْنَمَا تَكُونُوا يُدْرِككُّمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُرُوجٍ مُّشَيَّدَةٍ ۗ
Wherever you are, death will find you, even if you are in a strong fort again ... ... .. "(Surat an-Nisaa: 78)
This is a warning to those who are weak in faith and have felt themselves happy to be safe, never fight again. In their hearts, they were afraid to die, when death would come. Although hiding in a castle or a strong fortress, the place hid and survived the people who want to avoid death. Yet wherever run, when the time comes to die, must also die. How dying to run and to hide. If you want to die too, it would be nice to die in glory.
How many humble men chase death with bravery, do not die for not yet dying. How many people are horrified to see a bullet, then run, then the bullet was chasing him. The experience of soldiers or warriors on the battlefield is overwhelming in this respect.
For the believer it is the impression of this verse. Because of this verse a believer is not afraid of death. Where are they going to run? Yet wherever run, there is death waiting. Though hiding into a secret chest. There we too will die because the air does not enter. We run into the sea, there we will die because we can not breathe.
There are people who are afraid of flying aboard because there are people who die because the airplane is on fire. Though people can not dodge from sleeping on mattresses, while people who die on mattresses more than those who died elsewhere.
Now this verse explains that we will not be able to escape from death despite hiding into the high castle. Like the daughter of kings in Europe in the Middle Ages, who awakened her purple on steep hilltops and was given a big moat around to keep the enemy from entering. But they can not prevent the coming of the angel of death. Setting up a fortress for angelic defenders is useless. "It is a sign that never changes in the heavens, that is God. And it is a sign that can not change in the earth, that is the grave. "Thus said by the famous Egyptian poet, Sayyid Mustafa Syadiq.
Ibn Jarir in his tafseer, accompanied by Ibn Abi Hatim tells a story they received from mujahid, "There was a woman of old. A sorcerer informs him that he will be killed by a spider ('Ankabut). Hearing the witch's words, the woman's husband made her a sturdy castle at the very top of the hill to keep her beloved wife from spider bites. "
One day, they sat husband and wife and the others in the fortified castle. Suddenly a spider was making a nest in the castle's attic. Said her husband, "Take a look! That's the spider! "Seeing that the woman said," Is this what we fear? So kakanda make me this high place to keep myself from it? "
"By Allah I must kill him!" Then the spider he hooked it down. Then with her marijuana stepped on the spider with her mother's toe, it died. But the spider may have spread into his nails, flowing all over his body (infection), bloated and black his legs can not be cured. Then he died.
