This is a visual travel diary for our stay in the beautiful capital of Scotland - Edinburgh.
Walking from Morningside over to the Craiglockhart campus of Edinburgh’s Napier Uni.
Tiny space, need to watch out for relentlessly speeding traffic.
One thing that is noticeable is the insane amount of diesel cars in the UK which often creates a nasty diesel exhaust scent in the air. I’m no fan of breathing masks but here I can see myself use one. For the record I’ve only ever owned one diesel car in my life. Last 15 yrs petrol only :).
On a positive note Edi is surrounded by countless, mostly public and very well maintained golf courses that seem to be frequented mostly by the city’s retirees. Keeping healthy!
Beautifully colored fall leaves on the trees make for some cozy walks! This is Morningside.
The venerable EasyJet Airbus, or is it Eurowings? RyanAir? I get confused as I currently commute between various cities in Germany and Edinburgh.
More to come!
