Where I least expected

Esteemed greetings Steemers!

Some time ago I was very high in a mango tree, lowering fruit for the family. And I see a small bundle on a distant branch. I was wondering what it was, and I decided to go higher to reach it. ¿Was it a worm cocoon? looked like. It was a small bulge

I decide to touch him, wondering how many problems and lessons we have learned in the history of humanity because of the need to touch things. To my surprise, the little bump was cold and OPENED THE EYES.

It was a frog. A beautiful banana frog with cat eyes on the top of a mango tree. Curious, is not it? I could only take a picture because he took a leap with the one that disappeared into thinner branches. It was a jump of more than half a meter. I will never forget that meeting.

I decided to investigate and discovered that this member of the Hylidae family uses the suckers of their 18 fingers to adhere to the leaves of a previously chosen plant in order to make a big jump in case of attack. At night they are supposed to be somewhat dark, but in the daytime their white skin makes their eyes look like felines.
It is a very docile and harmless animal, worth observing. I feel lucky to have photographed her.

A hug Steemitero, and in the next post we'll see each other!
